Learning objectives that this lesson is contributing to Pupils know the lexical material of the theme «Eating in Kazahstan”; they can use it in monologue and dialogical speech, understand questions and can working in a groups;
Lesson objectives All learners will be able to:
• understand and pronounce new words;
• tell about traditional foods of Kazakhstan
Most learners will be able to:
• understand new words in different contexts;
• say something about food
Some learners will be able to:
• analyze, use critical thinking, express their opinion on the theme, using new words;
Success criteria Give appropriate answers that are clear and intelligible in response to prompts

Organization moment.
Learners show their readiness to the lesson.Teacher give a puzzle with the picture where the students must be finding the theme of the lesson.

Warming up
Teacher shows the video about to preparing for the guests and answer to know, what else we shall do after inviting guests?. Teacher shows flipchart with the task of the lessons.

Dividing pupils into 2 groups : If someone has a «plate» 1 st groups, and a «cup»s in 2 nd group

Presentation. Reading the text « Kazakh traditional food». Answer the questions in pairs. Discuss in small groups.

Brainstorming. Find the odd words
1.Apple, mushroom, flavour, banana
2.Shubat, juice, kymyz, orange, airan
3.Onion, potato, tomato, grape, cabbage, cucumber
4.Bread, bayursak, kuyrdak, irimshik, strawberry
5.Cheese,rice, butter, juice, irimshik

Grammar practice:
there is/there are ,there was/there were
Make predictions about the past simple and present simple. Using the prompts
Students complete the sentences using flipchart.
Students make the sentences using grammar structure

Physical break:students sing a song and dance to the tune repeating the moves shown in the video:to cut,to boil, to mix,to fry,to add.

Guess the words and write.(spell out the transcription)

Learners read the sentences and say which one is True or False (in a such way, teacher check if they understood the content)

Self assessment. Teacher asks students to write a reflection of the lesson.
