Beginning the lesson
The teacher greets students; students respond to greeting and take their places.
Hello, boys and girls! How are you? What is the weather like today?
Divide into 3groups using the pictures.
Presentation and practice
Ending the lesson The students will pay attention at an interactive board.
A video will be shown. Then they will be asked some questions. What is the video about?
They will answer then a topic of the lesson will be introduced.
Answer the questions:
1.What type of instrument is a dombra?
2.Where do dombra parties take place?
3.What skills does an akyn need?
4.How many gold medals did Kazakhstan win in Rio?
5.How many sports did Kazakhstan win medals for in Rio?
Guessing from words:
Before students look at the text. They are going to read, the teacher writes 5 or 6 words from the text on the board and asks the students to guess the topic.

Differentiation by support.
The teacher gives the diagram for each other, with questions. The students should answer this questions and put it in a diagram.
Strategy: Round table
In teams, students each write a response on their own piece of paper. Students then pass their papers clockwise so each teammate can add to the prior responses.
Students must complete the tasks for Formative assessment.
Homework For homework, asks students to write a response to Alina’s email. They should express interest in Alina’s hobbies and give their own view about things such as folk music and watching the Olympic Games.
